The filling was good quality - I didn't get one bit of gristle or fat - but it was a bit lacking in flavour. The flavour was very mild and quickly overwhelmed by soy sauce.
The dough was nice, soft and sticky.

Dislike all of Mr Chen’s pkt food. Tasteless. Taste watered down. You have to supply just about all ingredients. Rip off. Not yummy.
Prawn and Chive dumplings are made in Vietnam. This is not disclosed online only on the box. So for this reson I will not buy again
I have never had Mr Chen's Chicken and Lemon Grass Dumplings before.I think that they are fabulous 95% Aussie content , produced in Australia by an Australian Company.I have never had his other products before but would assume ,now, that I would enjoy them just as much.I am very fussy about where my food is sourced.Recently I decided to purchase fewer products in the local Coles and Woolworths freezers due to the fact that they are ,increasingly ,being brought in from China,Indonesia , Vietnam , Thailand , Singapore and Malaysia..Often the labels attempt to disquise where they are from.An example would be a fish product which has the words 'Barramundi ' in large print on the packet. Also in large print is a description of a source contained with the fish.Something like 'Darling River or Murray River Source' so that you are led to assume that it is a genuine Aussie product.
On the back of the carton ,in very small print,'A product of Indonesia.'
I like Mr Chen's , as acompany, and will be buying more of what is being offered.
