A very mild butter chicken - not at all spicy.
Very balanced flavours - there was a slight creamy and rich flavour.
The rice was lightly spiced with turmeric, light and not at all sticky.
The chicken pieces were defined rustic - some almost looked pre-chewed! It was however real chicken - probably thigh meat.

Rice turned out mushy (thought I was mixing up mashed potatoes as I was mixing the rice) with some undercooked hard bits throughout as another poster said. Lots of sauce, and the sauce is better than Woolworths' instant butter chickens -- doesn't taste like just tomato. Chicken is alright.
Plenty of sauce. Rich and creamy. Almost on the sweet side.
Could have done with a little more solid - like potatoes.
Rice was heavy and sticky, with a subtle spice added.
Pretty good, tastes like proper butter chicken. Only criticism is the rice, as it's likely a bit too wet and doesn't come out dry when microwaving. Overall far better than most, and when it was on special for $3 a bargain.
Eaten as a lunch on a working weekday. I was impressed by this tasty, easy, convenient frozen meal. Not spicy, rice perfect and real chicken. I cooked it for less time than packaging suggested because it was slightly defrosted from the fridge at work. Yum! Just the right portion size and doesn't have that weird fake taste of frozen meals. Actually tasted like made fresh at home. Not at all expensive either. I will definitely buy again.
