Cheap processed chicken meat - the type that's been shredded and compressed to a "chicken strip" shape. Leaving a spongey texture with no meat fibres.
The crumb was just OK - nothing exceptional. It wasn't a "KFC" level flavour. More like chicken smothered in chilli sauce.
Overall - quite disappointing. I expected REAL chicken meat (not processed), more meat / less crumb, and a more intense and complicated flavour.
Instead I got cheap frozen chicken.
