As I opened the packaging the first thing I noticed was the cocoa powder – it had spilled everywhere and left and strong odour of rich dark chocolate. A real chocolate lover would be thrilled – but I wasn’t so sure about the mess it left behind.
Looking in I saw the triangle peeks of the tiramisu – an interesting design that sets it apart as a premium dessert.
After only a few minutes at room temperature it was ready to try.
The filling was soft and creamy – but the cocoa was again had an overpowering flavour. The cake layer was a bit thin – but was moist with the coffee liqueur – which flavour punch through and lingered.
It was a nice dessert but could have been better – less cocoa powerder and a thicker cake layer.
