Beef burger and special sauce chips - in a mixed bag - like a chip lucky dip or chip-roulette.
The beef burger chips had a bold flavour, almost like real beef - but more like a strong beef stock. Not entirely appealing as a flavour. And had brown patches which also didn't look good. This was NOT a good flavour - the sort of chips you would bring to a party to watch everyone's reaction but would secretly avoid eating them.
The special sauce flavour was very close to the McDonalds big mac sauce taste - it had a complex flavour with several notes. Sort of sweet with a pickle flavour happening. I could quite easily eat a whole packet of just the special sauce flavour.
As a mixed bag, there was a novelty of not quite knowing which flavour you were about to experience.
Consumed together - the flavours worked well. Almost like eating a burger.
The potato tasted oily - and really ruined the flavour potential.
