What ever happened to quality control? Still tastes OK, but was advised after contacting the company that Nov '23 product would be better. Checked product in Supermarket with that date, but looking thru the glass jar can see that it still looks like water. Looks like a change to GF Vegemite will have to be the answer. It is a pity though.
Hope they fix it, as mighty mite is my favorite spread.
Yes the consistency has changed, but instead of bad mouthing and assuming cost cutting, I took the time out and rang the company. They have recently had an issue with the starch supplier changing the starch. This has caused issues with the texture of the product. Still tastes great. I was told that improvements had been made. I bought another jar and can definitely see improvement from my last jar.If you don’t like it don’t buy it. No need to hide behind a keyboard and badmouth a company.
Totally agree. Another example of cheapening production--you can't decrease the jar size and you don't want to increase the price, so you cynically dilute the product.
I think the company should diversify into the paint industry---all that is needed is a bit of acrylic, then into the sprayer and onto the wall! I can hear the jingle: "Immerse yourself in the Mightymite world; paint your house with Mightymite!"
